OUR LOCATIONS
With a wide range of beautiful beaches Blue Barrel Surf School can operate surf lessons from, it means we will always find the perfect wave for you.
During the summer months we will often stick to the north coast, exploring the many beaches that make up St Ives Bay and the world famous Fistral Beach. When the swell kicks in around the autumn and through the winter months we will often bounce between the north and south coast depending on the surf forecast and look for the most favourable surf breaks.

OUR MAIN LOCATIONS
SOUTH FISTRAL
North Coast
South Fistral Beach in Newquay, offers sheltered conditions thanks to the surrounding cliffs that protect it from strong southerly and southwesterly winds. This natural protection creates cleaner, more manageable waves, making it a great option for both beginner and intermediate surfers. Unlike more exposed beaches, South Fistral often benefits from reduced wind interference, allowing for better wave quality and longer rides.
Fistral beach is a world renowned break that definitely deserves a place on your surfing bucket list.
