Where to find us in Cornwall
Blue Barrel is a mobile surf school, so there's no shop to visit. We meet you at the beach with all the equipment, and choose that beach for your level and the conditions on the day. We'll let you know where to meet before your lesson.

How do I book a surf lesson?
Book online through our booking page, where you can see live availability and pay for your lesson. If you'd rather talk it through first, call 07572 526698 or email bluebarrelsurfschool@gmail.com.
Where do we meet for our surf lesson?
We're a mobile surf school with no fixed shop. We choose the best beach for your level and the conditions, from South Fistral in Newquay to Gwithian and Porthkidney in St Ives Bay, and let you know where to meet before your lesson.
How much is a private surf lesson?
A private 2-hour surf lesson is £100 for one person, and each extra surfer adds £30, up to 8 people. All equipment is included.
Can I enquire about a group or a gift voucher?
Yes. For groups of 9 to 16, such as stag and hen parties or team days, email us with your date and group size for a quote. Surf lesson gift vouchers can be bought on our gift vouchers page.
What times do surf lessons run?
From November to March, lessons start at 10am and 1pm. From April to October, they start at 10am, 1pm and 4pm, with an optional 6pm sunset session.
